I think the main thing that mathematical finitists get wrong is that numbers “actually” exist—let alone ought to be a certain way.

The structure itself could be nothing more than the fact we live in the same universe, so we’re going to talk about its phenomena in a similar way. Like with language.. if they all had verbs, nouns etc. does that indicate some linguistic structure of the universe?
