I have to learn C++ for my particle physics research. Fml I hate coding.
Coding seems annoying at first, but it's immensely useful if you want to go to grad school.. I say, learn it with everything you got imho

^ one of my interns is an astrophys grad and totally destroys compsci ppl when it comes to ML/quantum algorithms/CFD simulations. I've never met a Physicist who can code that wasn't a rockstar.

I wish computer scientist taught it with good coding practices because it is very clear when a physicist wrote a code vs a computer scientist.
