I guess you mean 't Hooft's non Abelian monopole? So as a mathematician I agree (although in this case I'd use the integral form of the Maxwell's equations!) , but as a physicist I'd like to see more evidence.

As a point of interest - certain systems can also be engineered and made to behave like monopoles. See https://arxiv.org/abs/1011.1174 for instance. Maxwells equation forbids the existence of monopoles as fundamental particles - so the engineered systems don’t really count...
