Fellow inertial observers, I’m coming up on 700 followers now, and I wanted to thank you all for the great discussions, questions, and always being interested. Composing math/phys tweets is something I really enjoy, but the greatest enjoyment comes from sharing it with others.
Also to answer your question I know quite a bit (maybe too much) about tensors lol

I ended up dropping my general relativity because I was getting all indices and no concepts to link anything to. Once he got to playing loosey goosey with randomly changing indices with no specific reason behind it, other than to do forced consolidation of terms..I noped out.

I see.. well the concepts you can get from really any Brian Greene book tbh, the value of a GR class is learning the nuts and bolts. I understand that people can be sloppy with indices, and that can be frustrating when learning it
