I’m thinking about starting a Physics GRE thread where I go over problem efficient solving techniques for the PGRE.. what do you all think?

I agree - I felt I had a good overview of the key pillars of physics after studying for it. However, the test itself really seemed to test whether you could 'triage' the questions effectively and whether you remembered the 'quick' ways of solving problems.

I think the thing the PGRE gets a bad reputation for is needing to know how to take the test. But the skills of answering those questions efficiently are actually relevant to physics. They've also done away with the disincentive to answer questions you weren't sure about.
