I just wanted to point out that when everyone got their memories back, they reverted back to their most recently reformed form. Which means this isn't Spinel shapeshifting, this is her form.
She poofed herself to be like this, which is -dare I say, a parallel to self harm.

Yep. Those feels weren't necessary. But I would also like to point out, this means she poofed and reformed, "heard the story over and over again", somehow got the injector and the scythe reset thing, and rode the injector (which isn't exactly a ship) all the way to earth in a day
