  1. This afternoon I had the privilege of speaking at the closing day of the Young Men, Inc. summer camp at Great Commission Church of God. These young men will help make the difference in making Indianapolis a safer, healthier, stronger community now and into the future.

  4. Tenant Advocate Project A new partnership with , , & Indy Legal Aid Society, it will place a tenant advocate in participating Marion County township small claims courts to offer day-of pro bono legal assistance.

  5. Rental Assistance Program: Households at or below 80 percent of the Area Median Income (AMI) that have experienced a reduction in earned income and are at risk of housing instability are eligible to apply for rental assistance. Go to for more.

  6. Tenant Legal Assistance Project: Any Marion County tenant who believes their legal rights may have been violated or who is facing eviction can access the Tenant Information Hotline at 317-327-2228 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on business days.

    💡 Operation Night Light is approaching the finish line to illuminate . Today, AES Indiana and Hogsett announced the near completion of the initiative to bring nearly 27,000 street lights and a sense of security to Indy neighborhoods.

  17. But by no means are we finished. Through 2025, we’ll be reinvesting the savings from the retrofits into new lights throughout our city. So far, we’ve approved more than 2,000 new fixtures, with more on the way.

  19. Today I was proud to join to mark a major milestone in Operation Night Light. At this point, nearly all 27,000 streetlights have been retrofitted with low-energy, low maintenance LED fixtures.
