I linked to that video because I'm going to tell you right now, and I've had to tell so many game devs this that it makes me throw up.. The moment your Kickstarter hits the halfway mark, you're going to get blown up by scam artists offering to help you "market". DO NOT ENGAGE!

Shouldn't they be prowling social media for campaigns that haven't launched yet? They prey on campaigns on trajectory to meet their funding goals and con people into getting a cut of the campaign that is already going to be successful without anyone else's help. DO NOT ENGAGE!!!

If you ever have questions about that stuff, I'm always here. Even if you hate my guts and I hate yours, I don't fuck around with this type of stuff. I'm always around to help indie devs with their crowd funding stuff, and I don't charge you a dime for it. Anyone who does? Don't.

You can also always reach out to developers who've gone through this process. So many love to help.
@Muckbeast I've seen talk devs out of trees.@mikeBithell is very personable and knows how this stuff works. But DO NOT TRUST "marketing companies" who contact you mid-campaign.Prikaži ovu nit -
There's guys like
@AxiomVerge or@werezompire or@FreakZoneGames that have gone through it all. Trust the community. Trust its leaders. Trust its devs with a track record. This shit can be scary, and there's people who will take advantage of you. If you're unsure, reach out.Prikaži ovu nit
