    Delhi Metro rail is an ideal example of sustainable development. Some trees were cut to build metro stations. For each tree cut, 5 trees were planted, which have grown in 20 years. The Metro rail was introduced during Atal Bihari Vajpayee-led NDA government 20 years back.
