    Tax evader also sold part of his real estate project near Jammu in unaccounted cash;undertook real estate transactions in his personal capacity or in name of family members involving over ₹7crore of unaccounted cash; deposited 1.44crore during demonetisation.

    The main promoter was a director in a Dubai based company & was holding/operating a foreign bank a/c which was never disclosed in his ITR. He is likely to face action under the Black Money (Undisclosed Foreign Income &Assets), Imposition of Tax Act, 2015 & other relevant laws.

    Group is engaged in business of real estate &info. tech. During search,it was detected that tax evader was given illegal benefit of ₹60crore by J&K Bank.His outstanding loan of ₹190crore was settled at ₹130crore,with connivance of bank officials who also ever greened his loan

    In order to review the existing Income-tax Act,1961 & to draft a new direct tax law, the Govt. had constituted a Task Force, which was reconstituted with Sh. Akhilesh Ranjan, Member, CBDT as it's Chairman.
