The Latin American interviewees are rightfully concerned about 's alleged lack of neutrality. We also believe it's potentially damaging to have the body charged w/ protecting the international seabed & developing rules to govern its exploitation.
We encourage Germany & France to more productively discuss "how can this activity be conducted responsibly" vs. "should this happen at all" as they both hold contracts for exploration of deep sea minerals in the area. zcu.io/pUkF #sustainable #deepseamining
