Awful. They are feeding animal food to people in Morrow County (OH) jail. The box says “Edible, not for human consumption.” Anyone who grew up on farms knows what that means.

ICE medical said that our client’s persistent headaches (he was screaming and crying in pain) could not be due to his fall several months prior to detention. Fast forward a federal court order and specialists, he had a depressed skull fracture and traumatic brain injury. Age 5.

Not anybody I've worked with, but I know of at least two different stories out of TN in 2018 I think where diabetics went blind because they were refused insulin

There are a couple of people I know of who died in DKA because they weren’t given adequate insulin. When you read the death in custody reports, it’s shocking.
