The good news is that 7000 bills were filed last week in MA because we have a bizarre and deeply undemocratic process that basically mandates all bills to be passed during the next two years be filed by last week. Which always leads to a total free for all of bad ideas.

There was an affluent white male wheelchair-using Missouri state representative who had a similar bill 25yrs ago, but it was specifically for death row inmates to trade organs for life in prison.
