funnily enough "skin hunger" has also been around as a term for a long time, but i've mostly seen it in fanfiction. for over a decade lmao they didn't come up with ANYTHING new

UU youth culture & comprehensive sex ed spaces have used "skin hunger" as a term since at least '99. However, it matters that it is actually distinct from "touch starvation" and they probably would have done better to use that term instead.
