I'm on a waiting list for the gender identity clinic at the Sandyford. From what I've heard from @ImWatson91 and those who've attended other centres like the Tavistock, I do not trust that they will assess me properly.

I got referred in November 2019, so I probably won't be seen until next year at the absolute earliest.
Jesus, the waiting times have gotten so much longer since I attended. The Sandyford must be booming with referrals now.

I initially went in 2013, and was only on the waiting list a few months. (It was one of my first talking therapies and I was not good at opening up.)

I hope you're treated well when you're seen again. They were always very friendly to me, but too quick to focus on dysphoria without addressing other issues. Hopefully that's changed.
