I'm on a waiting list for the gender identity clinic at the Sandyford. From what I've heard from @ImWatson91 and those who've attended other centres like the Tavistock, I do not trust that they will assess me properly.
Do you know roughly when you'll be seen? If you feel they're not assessing you properly, tell them. I wish I had asked more questions rather than just nodding along. If you feel they've failed to ask something or have failed to address a certain concern, please tell them so.

I got referred in November 2019, so I probably won't be seen until next year at the absolute earliest.

Jesus, the waiting times have gotten so much longer since I attended. The Sandyford must be booming with referrals now.
