Whenever I discuss my detransition there's always one idiot who chimes in with "just because you regret transition doesn't mean every trans person will!" I've never claimed that every trans person will regret their transition. Learn to read. Not everything's about trans people.

What do you think would bridge the trans versus detrans divide? I don’t mean for my existence to be hurtful to anybody. I don’t like the tension.
When detrans people say we don't want our experiences used against trans people, we're told if we really cared, we'd stay silent - this needs to be called out. We also need to make sure our stories actually aren't being used against trans people and call it out when we see it.

I have a terribly difficult time with surgery on healthy bodies. It really bothers me that it’s happening. My thing to deal with, but there it is.

I’m just as puzzled as anyone why I felt med trans = something I needed. It’s extreme & pretty messed up, yet it *felt* necessary. In the lesbian community it was presented as an option: be butches or FTM. I can think of many reasons 4 why someone might make this choice.
