I knew young teen who suddenly came out as a boy. She often spoke ill of the "popular slutty-dressed" girls in school. She feels boys get more respect, she rejects femininity. Her mom is a drug addict, father left years ago. I can see how that cld lead her to where she ended up
especially at a time where being Trans was a fad for some kids. A way of being different.
