Garden cocktail No idea of measurements but it’s gin, elderflower liqueur, muddled cucumber, apple juice and a sprig of mint.

NO name for it but Gin Mint Lime tonic or sparkling water OR for a bit of punch a good ginger soda or ale

Brandy Alexander. 2 parts brandy, 1 part dark creme de cacao, 1 part single cream. You can't drink more than one without feeling a bit overdone, but v nice end of the evening drink. Supposed to top it with grated nutmeg but I go for choc coffee beans instead.

Also Atholl Brose. Soak a handful of porridge oats in 200ml water; strain into a pan, add a double of good scotch and a spoonful of honey, blend, heat, serve. Or ideally, put in a thermos and drink in a picturesque spot on a cold but dry day.

Depends on the time of year. If its cold out gimme a cider with cloved orange. If its warm gimme a glass of lemonade mixed with a shot or 2 of Curacao (blue shark).
