The problem is that it's being pushed prominently by Kiera Bell and transgender trend. If they weren't in on it it would be really different. I'm glad detransition helped you.
Keira bell is a detransitioned woman, why wouldn't she be in on #DetransAwarenessDay ?

Of course she should be. But she is also fighting to increase gatekeeping for trans people in the UK and I can see why that gives the wrong impression
