Unlike my other films (in the pre cancellation era) Indian media used to write about the films I make. Now they don't, even when I email and request them to. And when you call them sellout, it apparently offends them. Make it make sense, please.

I have proof of there being a rise in ROGD cases in India. There is a chance to resist this malevolent ideology, to right the wrong. But apparently, like all of civilisation, we will cry over spilt milk and millionaires will turn billionaires at the expense of girls & women.

I'm happy for Indian media to even thrash the film for all I care. Bad press is indeed a thing and may help some lone mom, or a gullible little girl somewhere. But nothing. Active engagement on things on social media otherwise, but an astonishing level of denial about this.

I meant to say, unlike my current film, indian media used to write about all the films I make. I have emailed emailed a few friends asking them if we can discuss this issue in a civilised manner. No reply, texts left at read, and just good old deafening silence. So familiar.

This is heartbreaking. I hope she gets the support and therapy she needs, though there is so little available to those who detransition. It's just not good enough.

And in this whole terrible scheme of things, you have woke fucks like Turban who go ahead and make matters worse. Undo whatever insignificant stride we make.

Don't even get me started on Turban. He'd silence every detrans person that doesn't just regurgitate what he wants us to say. Your documentary gave me and many more detrans people more motivation to speak out - and we will all be speaking out on Detrans Awareness Day on the 12th.
