I've such a soft spot for trans men, and not because I used to be one. When it comes to discussing trans issues they're often ignored; to focus on trans women. Unless they're pregnant. The trans men I know are amazing and deserve more than just being “men who can get pregnant.”

We have to self advocate regarding out medical health, and many guys don't. I get that to a trans man a breast or gyno exam can be really emotionally difficult. But it is extremely important. It can be life or death. 2/2
That's why it's dangerous that many GPs here in the UK stop calling trans men for cervical screenings and such. Most trans men aren't going to make the effort to book those appointments themselves due to the distress it can cause. You're right, is so important due to the risks.

It really is, testosterone increases the risk of cervical and ovarian cancers significantly in some. It's really unfortunate that it isn't talked about more. I know when it comes to tramsmens health,
