I don't want to remove trans health care. I want health care for dysphoric people to be improved. Not all dysphoric people benefit from transition: many of us were irreversibly harmed by it. Detransitioners are living proof that affirmation only is dangerous. We deserve better.

I agree with your original tweet that we need better health care. But trans people are a tiny % of the population. Big pharma isn't making millions, let alone billions off of us. Many trans people just can't afford treatment or are stuck in the 5yr+ queue to be seen.

If it was so profitable we'd see many private clinics popping up all over the place, but in the UK we have 3 private clinics. LTC, GenderGP and GenderCare. None of these are massive companies. More like a collective of individual professionals.
