As far as I know women serial killers tend to not have a sexual component to their drive to kill. On the other hand most males do. It’s interesting, I think more research should be done into this. just a random thought

Jolly Jane is an outlier in that regard. A case could also be made for Myra Hindley. Trying to think of more female killers who had a sexual component to their crimes, but I'm struggling, and serial killers are normally my forté.
I don't think Hindley would have started killing kids without Bradys influence, though. Same with Homolka without Bernardo.

Undoubtedly, and with Rose West too. But Hindley's participation, how she posed for the photos after, and how she tried to recruit her brother in law too, it did seem she committed to it unreservedly. I think it's arguable that she was getting something out of it herself.

Yeah, I remember reading the transcript of the recording they made with one of their victims and it was Hindley, not Brady, who was threatening and scolding the child. I think she was mostly doing it to impress Brady, but I agree she must have been getting more out of it.
