As far as I know women serial killers tend to not have a sexual component to their drive to kill. On the other hand most males do. It’s interesting, I think more research should be done into this. just a random thought
Women serial killers tend to be motivated by greed, revenge or jealousy. Men, sexual sadism. I would be interested in seeing if there are any female sexual sadistic serial killers, though.

Maybe they just dont get caught?

They'd certainly be suspected less than their male partners/neighbours. But with modern tech and DNA they'd need to be very thorough in their crimes.

The Toybox Killer comes to mind while not the main perpetrator the woman played a significant role and is on the tapes. Warning, if you do listen it pretty horrible. Serialholic podcast has an episode. To a lesser degree the miranda project partner of the main perp.
