Okay, so we've established that we have two groups who may kill themselves. Which is more ethical, risking someone's life, or risking someone's life AND denying autonomy?

Neither is "more ethical." If a life is at risk then measures need to be put into place to prevent that. For dysphoric people that's ongoing intense therapy to identify the cause(s). Only after proper mental health care and assessment should further steps be taken, if need be.

Your own failure to function without the state as a guardian is leading you to believe that's what needed for the rest of us too, but it's not. 99% of dysphoric people have the capacity and need to choose for themselves whether therapy be done before or after transitioning.

False. When a patient is seeking social, legal and medical changes - some of which are permanent - it is the duty of health care providers to make sure said patient is thoroughly assessed and found to be suitable for those changes. Therapy prior to transition should be mandatory.
