Exactly. Transition is not the wonder cure it is made out to be.
I don't want to remove trans health care. I want health care for dysphoric people to be improved. Not all dysphoric people benefit from transition: many of us were irreversibly harmed by it. Detransitioners are living proof that affirmation only is dangerous. We deserve better.

Actually the data shows most dysphoric people desist, so transition is technically not the best solution for the majority of those with GD.

It's not good 'care' to give children (or adult patients) every thing they want as soon as they demand it. Every parent knows that. -
And this is a massive issue dealing with a RODG teen. It is psychological terrorism being deployed in people’s homes, threats of suicide, violent outbursts & a conga line of doctors/psychs going ‘just give them what they want or we’ll report you for being abusive parents’.

Healthcare and mental healthcare should be the main focus. I will forever stand behind this but since transition is profitable mental health will likely never be a main focus

Exactly. When someone transitions they are a life-long patient, which is only making the drug companies richer an richer. It's so unfair on all the children and young people who are being roped into this.
