I look back on it now and It's so sad. I felt the need to defend something that was harming me, why? Pride? Fear of embarrassment? Fear of being wrong? Whatever the reasons, it's dangerous and I can't stop thinking about how many young people are currently caught in that mindset.

Yes, my ‘younger me’ made life decisions I’ve come to deeply regret...still, I vividly remember how they seemed like the right thing to do at the time, and knowing now that they were not, doesn’t stop the memory of feeing that they were....mind bending
