      This kind of thing- “protecting” parents from thinking about the existence of detransitioners, is why yes I DO feel ethically justified in encouraging detransitioners to be as public as we feel comfy being.

      Exactly. Those who try to hide detransition while celebrating transition, who want to silence detransitioners while yelling "trans pride!" are some of the most hypocritical bullies I've ever encountered.
