The most significant thing with this is the gap between Twitter and the ‘real world’. In the real world only 1 in 4 oppose GRA reform. So many just don’t care about it. I’m sure if it was you that was doing the ‘explaining’ there may indeed be a different response. What I think, is that the public see an oppressed and persecuted minority and just want to to something to make their lives more tolerable. The public are generally quite ‘good’.
