It definitely does. It is devastating to the family of the person who “transitions,” no matter how much they might try to hide that from you, to protect you and to try to maintain a relationship with you.

Thanks for recognizing that a transitioner takes with them on their journey everyone who cares about them. There’s a lot of pain and fear and anguish and loss involved and it deserves acknowledgement. Writing about it will help others. Hope it helps you heal, too. #forXX
