While many of the trans men I know are manly ie. gym buffs. big beards etc. Many are "pretty boys." It wasn't that they resented being feminine, they just don't want to be feminine women - they want to be feminine men. Stark contrast to the "trans men hate femininity" arguement.

This is true. Some also present so femininely that if they were biologically male, people would think they were transwomen. I think it's possible that some of them have some sort of AAP, or AAP and something else, or maybe they are imagining being trans women...

...but AAP does not have anything to do with femininity, "classic" AAP are masculine, like Lou Sullivan. I suspect Buck Angel is AAP.
