I've spoken to detrans women who say they only sought transition after reading gay male fan fiction online. They'd fantasize about being one or more of the characters in these stories and became aroused at the thought of being attractive, desirable gay males. 2/3

Would this be classed as autogynephilia or something else? I find it fascinating but I've seen so little on the topic. Thoughts? 3/3

There is this disturbing documentary about Human Dolls, my biggest take away from it was a 70 something yo man who told the filmmakers while in a full body doll suit, “why would I date a woman my age when I can come home to this?” Not the diving point of the film but striking.

I would not be surprised at all if it applied to women as well as men. I do not believe the two sexes are all that different (not that they are similar enough to change one into the other).

He’s entirely discredited.

FALSE. *TRA* denying the existence of AGP =/= discredited. Science cannot disprove the existence of AGP. Science can propose & examine alternative hypotheses for Blanchard's observations that stand up to peer review. This has not happened. Blanchard has not been discredited.
