I believe those who claim "trans women are women" and who support affirmation only for young children are a very vocal minority. I met many trans people offline, mainly due to having been trans myself, and not one of them turned on me for detransitioning. They supported me 1/2
None of them think sex can change, that young kids can understand the consequences of transition. I think of this whenever I see insane TRA opinions online. It begs the question: if the deluded online TRAs are a vocal minority, why are governments humouring their bullshit? 2/2
Because of the sheer amount of deluded people behind this minority.
It blows my mind. Normal, empathetic people just don't buy the TRA bullshit. No rational person actually thinks sex can change, that trans women are the exact same as biological women, or that kids can consent to blockers. I can't believe some of the shit I see online sometimes.
That's a good point. If a transwoman is a woman and has always been a woman, then they detransition, does that mean they are still a woman? Confusion is a tool of cults and other ludicrous belief systems to avoid scrutiny, and usually indicates willing ignorance.
