You want to know the truth? There is a very, very small percentage of the human population who have genuine gender dysphoria and who will actually benefit from transition. The rest of us? We're mistaken, mentally ill or are attention seeking in our loneliness. Or all three.

You wanna know the even more basic truth? Some people, my wife included, have gender dysphoria, and would not benefit from transition. Also, dysphoria is not binary, you're not "dysphoric or not," "trans or not," there's a spectrum of feeling.

I respect each individual's choice to live in a way that makes them feel happy and content. I do not respect a system that creates a false mirage of happiness, a system that preys upon vulnerable individuals and leaves them with life long physical and emotional scars..

Watson, I would say that some teenager’s GD was brought on by trauma..... and the trans ideology sold them false information on how to escape the pain and distress of that trauma.

And the fact that the trans rights movement actively covers up de-transitioners and their stories says everything we need to know about the cover-up on escaping pain/distress/trauma thru life-long medicalisation and radical surgery of healthy body parts.

I am hoping that this will be another thing that psychedelics can help sort out. I dropped all my body issues in one trip. There wasn't such thing as trans when I was growing up and I might have fell into that hole when I was going through puberty if it was.

I think there are some people for whom that's the only thing we know that can help, but it still seems like it's masking the problem rather than healing it. If it can help some people in severe distress I definitely support it, but I think it should be a last resort.
