There are a lot of people wanting to shut down the debate, rather than open it up. Shouting 'transphobe' about us is a convenient way to do that. It signals to many people captured by gender ideology "oh, transphobe, I'll not listen to that person anymore then".
Precisely, middle ground should be the aim of this discussion. Problem is, accusations of transphobia will still pop up. I've voiced my support for trans adults multiple times on here, yet I'm "transphobic" for wanting more caution when dealing with young, dysphoric children.
