A so called journalist spreading misinformation about detrans women before his article is even published. I and many other detrans women are not radical feminists, do not blame our transition regret on misogyny, support our trans friends and do not see trans women as predators.https://twitter.com/e_urq/status/1354059056118427650 …

I wanted to wait until the article came out before saying anything. I'm also attempting to study for exams, but I have to say that it really looks like he is trying to pit detransitioners against detransitioners, and I hope no one takes the bait...

Defining a "detransitioned woman" as something other than a detransitioner is just bizarre.

Ironically I have also expressed concern about misandry and heterophobia in online friend groups of detrans women, but ultimately I recognize that there is no "Detrans Women's Community"
that owes anyone anything. These young women have a right to be as unpleasant as they want.2 replies 1 retweet 17 likes -

Exactly. I was going to wait until the finished article to comment, too, but after reading that nonsense I don't see the point. It's obvious the article is going to be one big slander piece on detransitioned women.

From what I’ve read - both the statements before asking for interviewees & those from today - the article is just an attempt to publicly position
#detrans women as being firmly in the “TERF” camp & therefore part of the group everyone can feel OK about hating & not listening to.2 replies 3 retweets 17 likes
That's exactly what he's planning to do. Of course, I and many other detrans women are regularly called TERFs already simply for being detrans, so he's not accomplishing anything new.
