It sounds like omission. I also notice you guys don't seem to mind that patients have to wait 2 years just for their first appointment. I wonder why that is?pic.twitter.com/MlidBjZpE7

None of what I just pointed out bothers you at all, does it? All you care about is the long waiting list, and it says a lot. Yes, the waiting time is appalling. But it is by no means the most shocking thing to come out of this report.
Not really, I quite clearly showed a screenshot that had nothing to do with the waiting lists which makes me think you didnt read it. I just find it interesting that restriction of access to trans kids healthcare which @CareQualityComm says is a problem is so quickly ommited.
I read it, I'm just not sure why you posted it. The clinic being compassionate and kind (as they should be) and the premises being clean and safe doesn't undo everything I pointed out, nor change the fact staff were so "afraid of retribution" that they didn't raise any concerns.
I see you're a detransitioner and I recognise that must have been tough and you have my empathy but I don't understand your position supporting transphobes want to abolish all affirmative care. Could you explain that to me?
I don't support transphobes. I have an issue with affirmative care because it doesn't allow for the child/young person in care may have developed dysphoria as a symptom of other conditions. By affirming without question, the patient is led towards a transition they may regret.
LGBT Affirmation means loving and supporting your gay or trans child no matter what the outcome. I agree therapy is important for everyone but Stephanie and their followers are intent stopping any trans youth from transitioning at all you really want to support that?
I don't think children have the mental capabilities/maturity to fully understand the consequences of transition. Once they are old enough and have some life experience/time to explore themselves/plenty of therapy - and they still want to transition - I'll support them.
I was one of those children, support means allowing them to explore their gender identity in a safe and loving environment and not feel ashamed whether it is right for them like myself or not like yourself.
how would preventing from transitioning at all if they know that it is what they want to be like myself be any different to someone preventing from detransitioning like yourself.
But how do you really know that the child will benefit from transition, for example, if they're being treated at the Tavi? Given the state of care there, as shown in the report? Again, adults can transition all they like, but children are mailable and still growing and learning.
