How many trans/detrans people would've never even considered transition had they never saw transition-related content online? Transition predates the internet, but no doubt the surge in people (esp. women & girls) seeking transition would NEVER have occurred without net access.

I'm desisted, but the narrative was from the internet, 100%, especially YouTube.
It wasn't so much YouTube for me, it was blogs and forums. I really doubt I would've sought transition had I not went down that rabbit hole.
