I think it's many things to many people. It's a mental illness. It's a youth subculture. It's a source of attention or community. It's a way to preferential treatment. It's an explanation for more complex problems. Etc. Do you understand what innate means?

I do yes thanks. My homosexuality is innate. Trans peoples trans ness is innate. All medical and psychological and psychiatric organizations agree. You people are extremely fringe.

Transgenderism and sexual orientation are not the same. But, and here's the thing, even if transness is innate, it doesn't alter someone's sex. Reproductive sex is a bald fact and the rights afforded women are based upon physical necessity or social disadvantage related to SEX.

No one claims it alters their DNA or their biological sex. No one. Their gender has been altered. Is different. It’s pretty simple.

And that's fine. No problem. But why the insistence of males in women's sports and changing rooms then? Those things relate to the physical body. Not gender.

Umm gender necessarily concerns the physical body.

If it isn't sex, in what way?

It’s how we present our sex, physically.
