Nearly every other detrans women I've spoken to (thanks to this account, that's a lot of women) suffered from an eating disorder or had autism. Or had been abused, or assaulted, or had suffered with depression, dissociation or body dysmorphia. This is a highly vulnerable group.

I have noticed this each time I've conversed with a detrans person. After every conversation...it haunts me. Our mental health systems are letting people down.
