Did you consider phalloplasty?
I did. I initially planned to have my hysterectomy after my mastectomy, and then the phalloplasty after that. Regret kicked in after the mastectomy, though, so that's the only surgery I had.

And what was the attraction of the phalloplasty? And in fact the hysterectomy? I know it might seem obvs about the hysterectomy but I don’t want to assume

Basically, just to make my body appear as male as possible. I knew two trans guys who'd had the phalloplasty back then, and they were mostly happy with the results.
