What questions do you have regarding the female-to-male transition process, transition regret and detransition that you want answered? I will provide what answers I have, and I invite my FTM and detrans followers to participate where comfortable.

After u transitioned, did u truly believe that u’d become male or did u have moments of doubt during that time? Did u feel u had essentially become the same as natal men? Also, did u feel v. angry re: so called “t*rfs” & if so, what about them/their arguments esp angered you? TY!

I never believed I was male. I wished I was, but I was "truscum" ie.a trans person who accepted reality. I also disliked terfs, and argued with them regularly - they said things that I disagreed with (and still disagree with) but also some uncomfortable truths

Thanks so much for answering. A very unique perspective. If you have the chance, would be interested to hear which things you might still disagree.

I don't believe I live in a patriarchy, I don't believe there is a "rape culture," I don't have a problem with consensual porn or rough sex, and I don't feel that women are oppressed in my homeland of Scotland

This is really interesting to me, esp after your answer to another question below: “Strangers very quickly perceived me as male. Less smiles, much less sexual harassment. Felt safer from sexual violence [but more at risk from male violence]”. I see these as directly related?

Just because a few groups of sleeze bags catcalled me pre-T doesn't make rape culture. I faced sexual harassment in most cases by men who had power over me, that doesn't change the fact that my grandas, dad, uncles, male cousins and male friends were there for me without question

I don’t think rape culture means all men - it’s the normalisation of sexual abuse, inc catcalling/harassment. It was certainly accepted as part of life when I was younger, and still is. Increasingly so, with porn culture.

I won't deny that there is a sexist element to what I know as "lad culture" and that I was subject to it as a girl/young woman. But because I grew up around men and boys who loved, protected and respected me, I just don't see the rape culture I so often see spoke about on here.
