Was it easy or difficult to find a doc who would put you on the path of medical transition? At one hand I see people who say it is almost impossible to find one. At the other, I have heard stories of people who pretty much instantly got hormons.
I was on a waiting list for 12 months, no therapy during that time. Then I saw my psychiatrist in early 2015 and I was injecting testosterone by summer.

They made you wait 12 months but no therapy? Makes the wait time pretty useless...

The wait is purely because the service is oversubscribed. It's not a time for reflection. If they had an earlier appointment available, the wait wouldn't have happened.
