What was your journey into identifying as trans? What made you think you were trans, what was your social context like and what were you going through at the time?

What I call my dysphoria began in high school. Say, 14-15 years old. I didn't know what dysphoria or transition was back then, they weren't known terms, all I knew was I had an overwhelming desire to be male. I resented being female so much, but didn't know why back then. 1+2

Did you undergo any regular monitoring of testosterone levels and/or other health indicators like blood pressure or kidney function? If so, what did you understand the purpose of that monitoring to be?
-
What potential health risks were discussed with you, at any point?

It made me very energetic. I felt amazing on it initially, very confident and assertive. But eventually, stunted. I raged when angry, but went numb with other extreme emotions. I didn't cry once on T, despite a few good reasons to do so.

How did taking testosterone affect your libido?
-
Very much so. I was told about the increase in libido that T could cause, but I was still amazed by it.

When or why did you feel regret for transitioning? Thank you for sharing

-
Regret slowly began to manifest in early 2018, 3 yrs after T & less than a year after my mastectomy. As for why, the pain and problems that were supposed to be fixed by transition weren't fixed and in some cases had gotten worse. I felt just as depressed as ever and wondered why
