"Detransitions caused by actual regret about the decision made and reflection on one’s transgender nature are very rare." This is due to not only an abhorrent level of followup, but that studying transition regret is deemed "problematic" and is shut down.

Also, studies done on transition regret were done before the affirmation only model & informed consent.
