Aren't we born into ideologies from day one? Developed over millennia, like patriarchal power structures, compulsory heterosexuality. What was your disgust informed by?
I'm honestly not sure. My parents were very accepting of my tomboyishness, as were my friends (who were mostly also tomboys). But for some reason I developed a strong aversion to my female body as a teenager.
We all did! When I think back of those early teenage times as a developing young woman, I had body dysphoria too and all the girls around me. We were all miserable&feeling deeply troubled. Now older women are sharing the same horrid memories. Who wants to be a woman? Only men do!
