'my gender dysphoria'...I believe it is not yours or any part of your unique personality. GD is the result of extreme ideologies played out over malleable youth and adult who can't think for themselves. Give GD back to where it was concocted!
I have to disagree. I was disgusted with the reality of my gender/sex years before I'd even learned what "transgender" meant. Maybe it's body dysmorphia or some other issue instead, but whatever it is it started before I was introduced to any ideology.
Aren't we born into ideologies from day one? Developed over millennia, like patriarchal power structures, compulsory heterosexuality. What was your disgust informed by?
I'm honestly not sure. My parents were very accepting of my tomboyishness, as were my friends (who were mostly also tomboys). But for some reason I developed a strong aversion to my female body as a teenager.
