Can we think about that for a second? A councillor got annoyed at me for refusing the label "non-binary," I believe, because I'm a gender non-conforming woman with my own opinions. So, no, I don't waste my time with seeking professional help for my gender dysphoria anymore. 2/2

That's incredibly unprofessional of him. Does he really think it's his job to affix labels to his patients and get offended when they object?

I have found most “professionals”working in the soul realm, are trained to categorise pathologies, label and dispense solutions- all of which lack soul process! The only book I would burn is the DSM

I’ve seen the rise of councilors and gender therapist. I believe the requirements and schooling is less than what is required of psychotherapist. I believe that
@stellaomalley3 spoke about these credentials in episode 1 or 2 of the new podcast she’s doing with@SashaLPC -

It's terrifying, isn't it? I don't understand why we can't all agree that alternatives to transition doesn't mean an end to transition, it just means more options and help for those that transition may not be best for.

This is why I wish detrans had access to an easier GRC reversal route, without having to chat to someone who tries to suggest you're nonbinary, or IME "not female anymore". I only bother attending for GRC reversal, and to see if there's chance of funding. Otherwise I'd drop them.
