I think a detrans app would be great, though I've yet to see one. There are places like the detrans subreddit for those really struggling with loneliness and need someone to talk to. & Detrans folk out there have found love, it's definitely not impossible even without an app

Mind that the old good irc protocol allows you to easily create community chans you may invite people to exchange on your chosen topic. Though not so eye-candy as apps or social networks, it is secure, reliable and fast. wn a

The trouble with the subreddit is it'll not be around much longer. It, like other spaces such as PCOS, Pregnancy, several lesbian subreddits, some feminist subreddits, it's now the target of a bunch of bullies who go out of their way to get subs like that banned.

Over the last 3+ years, activists on Reddit have been engaged in a censorship campaign against detransitioners by targeting our main online community, r/detrans. Despite the use of unethical, site rule breaking & sometimes even illegal tactics, Reddit admins do nothing.

Recently things have accelerated with them and a whole raft of subs they targeted got banned just before Christmas, so I don't think r/detrans will be able to hold out much longer
